How to Choose Your SportsLotto Risk and Target Payout
Your SportsLotto risk and target decide how likely a ticket is to win. Learn the maths behind the trade-off and how to pick numbers that fit your budget.
SportsLotto lets you choose your risk, number of teams and target payout, then generates sports tickets that match. Here is how it works, step by step.

SportsLotto is a Lunaris sports product that works backwards from a normal bet. Instead of picking teams first and then seeing what they pay, you choose how much to risk, how many teams you want on the ticket and how much you want to win. SportsLotto then searches the available games and odds and generates ticket combinations that match. You review them, keep the ones you like and add them to your cart.
You want to risk $10, use 3 teams and win around $100.
| Your choice | Value |
|---|---|
| Risk | $10 |
| Teams per ticket | 3 |
| Target win | $100 |
SportsLotto returns several tickets, each with three teams whose combined odds pay close to $100 on a $10 wager. One ticket might mix two favourites with one underdog; another might use three closer matchups. You open each ticket, check the teams and odds, and accept the ones you are comfortable with. If none fit, you change the target or the number of teams and generate again.

Both use real games and real odds; the difference is who does the searching. If you prefer to pick every team yourself, the Lunaris Sportsbook is the better fit.
SportsLotto is on the SportsLotto page. You need a Lunaris account and must be 21 or over, or the legal age in your jurisdiction if higher. Please play responsibly.
